We have designed circular gyro vibratory screens for dry classification of a wide range of powdered bulk materials and also liquid from solids. Our manufactured vibro sifter contains specially designed motor mounted vertically at the center of the base plate of the screen. When the material is fed in to the centre of top screen, it vibrates around its central axis in a gyratory motion, promoting the flow of material across the screen.

Undersize material passes rapidly through the screen during its travel to the periphery and over sized material get continuously discharged through a tangential outlet. Low power motor has fully adjustable eccentric weights to provide alternate vibration patterns for specific requirements. Multiple screen decks give either additional screen area or classification of in feed into separate size fractions.

Principle of Operation

Circular gyro vibrating screens have a predominantly linear displacement which, due to its angle to the screening plane, imparts a conveying component into the product. Our vibratory screens not only allow this type of screen to be installed and operated horizontally, but also offer the following significant advantages - high screening capacity with reference to screening area per tone, practically no wear on the screening deck, excellent separation effect, minimal pegging and blinding, and shallow construction.

The material to be screened is fed in to the centre of top screen and undersize material passes rapidly though the screen during its travel to the periphery. Over size material is continuously discharged through a tangential outlet. Vibro sifters are equipped to handle multiple screens one on top of the other with feed trays in between to give several precise sized fractions in a single screening operation. Special designs with up to seven screens are also available for grading.

The top weight on the motor shaft rotates in a plane close to the centre of mass of the assembly. Rotation of the top eccentric weight creates vibration in the horizontal plane which causes the material to move across the screen cloth to the periphery. Increasing the top eccentric mass increases the horizontal throw causing oversize material to discharge at a faster rate. The bottom eccentric weights rotate below the centre of the vibrating mass creating tilt on the screens giving vibration in vertical and tangential planes. Increasing the vertical component of motion promotes turn over of material on the screen surface helping maximum quantity of undersize material to pass through the screen. The effective vertical motion helps in minimizing blinding of screen.

The tangential component of motion is controlled by the angle of lead given to bottom weights with relation to top weights. Variation in lead angle controls the spiral pattern of material travel over the screen cloth. Speed and Flow pattern of material travel over the screen cloth can be set by the operator for maximum through-put and screening efficiency.
