Since our inception in this field, our company has made hard efforts to meet customers' exact requirements following international standard techniques for manufacturing magnetic drum separators with advanced features. The liquid pulp or slurry flows from the feed box with adjustable control of the weir flow, which regulates and directs the product flow through a semicircular separating chamber beneath a stainless steel drum. The stationary strong, high-gradient magnetic field is created by a cylindrical magnetic assembly consisting of permanent magnetic circuit.

These special permanent magnets generate high flux and particularly high field gradients which are necessary for successful separation. Positioned within the outer stainless steel drum shell captures the magnetic or ferrous particles and holds them against the drum surface. The clean product flows freely forward by gravity while the drum rotates clock-wise that is in opposition to flow of the liquid, collecting the tramp metal and ferrous particles which are magnetically attracted to the drum and travels to the drop point where the magnet assembly ends. The cleats on the drum aid in wiping off fine ferrous particles. This creates continuous self-cleaning action, requiring little maintenance or inspection.
